Referral is a shared module. Crowdfund uses it heavily; platforms may also attach it to RH Launch listings where the factory allows.
Two kinds

Both write to the referral registry. Payouts follow on-chain splits. Public docs do not quote those splits as percentages.
Platforms
A referring platform must be registered. Unregistered hosts cannot write referral records.

Referral credit cannot be assigned after the fact to an unregistered platform. See Invariants.
